BLACKPINK’s Jennie Donates 100 Million Won to Seoul National University College of Medicine

On May 30, the SNU College of Medicine Development Fund announced, “Jennie (BlackPink) donated 100 million won to the medical school’s development fund to contribute to nurturing compassionate talent who can heal the world.”
Seoul National University College of Medicine plans to use this donation to further strengthen its education and research environment and accelerate the development of talent equipped with social empathy.

Kim Jung-eun, Dean of SNU College of Medicine, expressed gratitude, stating, “We deeply appreciate Jennie’s meaningful act of practicing positive influence beyond mere financial support. We will ensure that our students grow into leaders with qualities of inclusion, acceptance, empathy, communication, sacrifice, and care, meeting the trust and expectations of the public.”
In 2023, Jennie’s agency, OA Entertainment (ODD ATELIER), also donated 100 million won to SNU College of Medicine, continuing a consistent commitment to supporting the cultivation of future medical talent.

Meanwhile, Jennie established her personal agency, OA Entertainment (ODD ATELIER), in 2023, embarking on her solo career. With her recently released first solo full-length album, Ruby, which showcases her boundless musical potential, Jennie has made history on various global charts, firmly establishing herself as a solo artist.
